Introduction Institute for the Management of Information Systems is universally recognised as the professional body providing qualifications in the area of management information systems, which are vital for the effective management of business. The IMIS takes keen interest in provision of data processing education and training and conducts its own examinations.
IMIS is a widely recognized body, awarding the most prestigious data processing qualification in the private and public sector. Its particular value lies in the fact that it does not only cover the technical and managerial aspects of data processing, but also the commercial and administrative environments. The institute offers three progressive levels, leading to acceptance for Degree courses at most UK universities. KCBC provides all IMIS courses leading to the institute’s Higher Diploma qualification. |

Entry Requirements: Four GCSE passes at grade C or above including English and Maths, or equivalent overseas qualification. Mature students over 21 with two years of approved work experience may also apply. |

*Students wishing to study for any of the programmes above need to join the IMIS as a student Member. The course commencement dates are January, April and September. Examinations are conducted in June and December. For further details please contact the college admission office.
